3D capture
With our new 3D capture service, we can digitally scan complex spaces with unprecedented accuracy, efficiency, and speed. This technology allows highly complex or large building assets to be scanned quickly and easily. With keen detail and hyper-accuracy up to 2mm over 10m in any direction, you can get an immediate visualisation of buildings.
3D capture is highly useful throughout the design process, from the front end — quick and efficient measure-ups of buildings or spaces — to completion, where it can be used to generate a detail-rich 3D data model of the finished asset that can then be used to manage that asset.

Faster and more cost-efficient project turnarounds. Using traditional methods such as more cumbersome laser scanners or even tape measures, it can take five to six days to measure up a site. Then once these measurements are taken, they must be manually input into computers and recreated into a 3D model. 3D scanning slashes that timeframe by more than 75%, translating to significant time and cost savings.
Reduced site revisions and streamlined project efficiency. With conventional measure-up methods, there’s often some margin of error, which frequently leads to issues later on in the project — but our scanning technology shrinks that error margin to near-zero.
Data collaboration between teams. Accurate measurement and detailed asset tagging facilitate smooth collaboration between internal teams, consultants, and contractors, enabling them to plan projects in highly accurate 3D detail. Any asset section updates can quickly be rescanned and incorporated into the main 3D file.
Better stakeholder engagement. By instantly creating 3D models of built environments, 3D scanning allows stakeholders to engage far earlier in the design process.
Greater value of project outcomes. Your 3D asset data can be repurposed for many valuable uses — including marketing, facilities management and maintenance, renovation planning, and health and safety planning.

We use 3D capture across retail, commercial and industrial sectors for:
- Turning FM into 3D, by tagging models
- Fast turnaround leasing plans
- Due diligence assessments
- BIM and services integration
- Seismic inspections
- 3D design integration and modelling for VR
- As-built, as installed
- Condition survey
