Christmas comes early for newly registered architect

Ysabelle Empiso

What a wonderful end to the year for Ysabelle Empiso in achieving registration with the New Zealand Registered Architects Board (NZRAB).

Ysabelle completed a Bachelor of Architecture in 2014 before gaining a master’s degree from the University of Auckland (UoA) in 2016. While studying at UoA, she co-founded the New Zealand arm of IAESTE – the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience, a non-profit, student run organisation that finds students paid course-related training in over 80 countries. She also spent a semester at the Technical University of Munich.

She joined Context in 2017, and her work with us includes masterplanning and design detailing on medium-density housing developments. Her skillset includes physical model-making and translating 2-D line work into 3-D built form.

Congratulations Ysabelle, it’s great to see all your hard work pay off and we look forward to seeing you continue to shine in 2023.
