Context is Everything

When Westpac relocated to 1 Victoria St, taking on an existing fitout from the previous tenant to reduce its environmental impact, Context developed a strategy it called “Adopt & Adapt” to deliver a fresh fitout based on retaining many existing elements.

Following an extensive workplace strategy phase to ensure the solution would align with Westpac’s post-Covid work practices, Context set about reimagining the existing environment.

The fitout is organised to support a higher degree of transient work with unassigned work positions, collaborative spaces, social areas, focus and quiet places for highly concentrated work and end-of-trip facilities supporting active lifestyles and commuting to work.
