Located on an upper level of the NZR Co. building in the heart of Otautahi’s CBD, Context’s studio marries the pared-away, gritty texture of the existing building with new, crisply detailed elements, creating a striking but refined contrast.

Applying its extensive understanding of contemporary workplace design, the Context team limited the built environment to a single wall that forms a generous meeting room at the south end of the space while using a proprietary wall system and cabinetry to create a separate storage and service area.

A work zone and collaboration space occupy the centre of the tenancy, furnished with sit-stand desks and meeting table, ensuring ergonomic comfort for all.

Extensive planting softens and humanises the hard surfaces creating a quiet equilibrium.
