The 1,077-square-metre site sits on the banks of the Avon, overlooking the Avon River Precinct — a prime location just a few minutes’ walk from the central business district.

The pre-existing building was an apartment block (designed by eminent architect Sir Miles Warren) that was severely damaged in the 2011 earthquake.Our team designed a light-filled, modern interpretation of the original building that makes the most of the river views. We paid close attention to acoustic insulation so that residents can enjoy their own entertainment rather than their neighbours’ — a common problem in rental apartments.

Quality design and construction with a mix of private outdoor space and carefully designed shared spaces gives residents a thoughtful blend of privacy and community.
