Brief
We were happy to help when New Zealand’s stock exchange, NZX needed a new design for an event space in its building based in Auckland’s CBD.

A space for shares and sharing
The NZX works with customers and stakeholders to grow the markets NZX operates, generating wealth integral to New Zealanders’ prosperity, while assisting Kiwi companies to get ahead. Part of its role is to host events and functions for businesses.

We brought together the concept of Future Islands and represented the New Zealand landscape in a way that shows the connectivity between NZX’s clients and companies.

The design features key gestures like opening the space to the light, connecting to the city, and creating a hub where people come together. By reconfiguring the meeting rooms, we created a large, dynamic multi-purpose event space. The café doubles as a caterer’s kitchen for ease of event set-up. It’s the perfect hospitality zone to celebrate NZX-listed companies.
