Brief
Plan a new village that will grow into a community — not just a cluster of houses. A place where people know their neighbours’ names and the names of their neighbours’ kids and dogs.
The building blocks of a 240-home community
Our masterplan for this 4.2-hectare site adjacent to the Groynes reserve in the north of Christchurch includes features to attract residents and help grow a new 240-home community.
The plan creates a cohesive, harmonious whole designed to deliver long-term value for owners and foster a vibrant sense of connection and community amongst residents. It maximises space, eases the consenting process, and provides for shared amenity and social features that will serve as the glue of the development. This includes a clubhouse where people can gather and share a meal, as well as informal outdoor spaces designed to encourage the day-to-day conversations that form relationships.
Grouped parking ensures that cars take a backseat to the landscape and the built forms.
