Twice the size of the previous facility, this 1,000m2 state-of-the-art veterinary clinic, caters to patients from domestic pets to the exotic species from nearby Orana Wildlife Park. The practice also provides specialised equine medicine and dairy farming services.
Inspired by the New Zealand farm building vernacular, spaces are organised around a central courtyard, delivering daylight to circulation and informal work areas.
A pair of gabled roofs reference nearby barns, with a prominent entry facing the main road leading into Rangiora.
At the heart of the building, an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, digital x-ray suite, six consultation rooms, three surgery rooms, sterile areas, and an isolation facility offer a comprehensive service to a burgeoning rural community.
