Rider Levett Bucknall’s new office is a commercial workplace fit-out designed to support its current team, future growth and a more distinctive local presence.

Context organised the compact tenancy around everyday use, placing workspaces at the perimeter where staff benefit from abundant natural light and wide views. Enclosed offices anchor one end of the plan, while the boardroom, kitchen and balcony form a flexible sequence for meetings, collaboration and informal client events.

Working within a tightly constrained budget, the design reused almost all of RLB’s existing desks and furniture. Investment was focused on selected improvements with greater visual and experiential impact, including timber internal joinery, helping the workplace feel considered and cohesive without unnecessary replacement.

The result is an efficient, characterful workplace with capacity to grow from approximately 16–18 people into the mid-to-late 20s. Context provided interior architecture and workplace fit-out design, space planning, building-services coordination, furniture integration, design development, full documentation, construction-phase oversight and site inspections.
