Located in Greenlane, Aintree Place is a large residential complex comprising 72 dwellings, including standalone homes, terraces, semi-detached units, and apartments. Originally built with monolithic plaster over timber framing, the development suffered significant weathertightness issues.
Context was engaged for a second remediation after earlier targeted repairs failed to resolve the leaks. Working closely with homeowners and the body corporate, we developed a solution that balanced performance, aesthetics, and budget.
The façade was fully replaced with robust brick cladding, giving the complex a fresh, contemporary look. Roofs were redesigned and rebuilt, and new bathrooms added to enhance liveability and value. The project has since received a new Code of Compliance, restoring integrity and boosting property values across the development.
